I mean, it's clearly their fault since other games' updates get downloaded without issues so far. Let the other file download and install. Start the game, and play through the tutorial and then quit the game and THEN download and install the update file. This way the update downloads and installs OUTSIDE of the game instead of causing you to be stuck in-game during this process which totally provents you from doing anything else. For PlayStation 4 on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Ps4 Stuck At : Preparing to download .. (10%)". I got uncharted a while ago and finished most of it, but a few weeks later my ps4 was reset and a new hard drive was needed. Now, I tried to play uncharted and its stuck at preparing with 0%. All other games work fine, the ps4 reads the disc fine and I need some help with this. As mentioned when you encounter this issue on the PS4 you will notice that your Game which should be downloading an Update File will say : Preparing to download…(10%) and no matter how long you wait it will not change despite having internet access that is working. Does "preparing to download" on the PS4 take too long for you to actually start downloading? When my PS4 has some updates for some games, sometimes it takes ages for it to start downloading, and just says preparing to download, and slowly gets to 100%. For example, yesterday there was a 60MB update was preparing to download for about 50 minutes. Once it was done preparing it took only a couple of minutes to download and install, but I want to know why it is taking so long to prepare and if there is anything that can be done to speed this up.
